winterizing strawberry plants

Hello,
I bought a few strawberries plants in late June, planted them in pots they pretty much doubled. the pots are pretty heavy, my question is can I transplant in little planter around September over the winter bring them into my home or garage. transplant them again in spring outside in the pots. or just them leave them in hanging pots.

Yes, you can overwinter your pots in a garage.
