How do I keep hibiscus alive in winter?

This will depend on if you have a hardy hibiscus, or a tropical one. A hardy one will not need any extra care in your area, until spring when you will prune it. A tropical one will have to be brought indoors, where it will start to go into a semi dormant state. It will not look healthy until spring, when you can put it back out, or unless you have a horticultural light. This along with misting them will keep them actively growing.
