I couldn't find any reference that suggested the vacuum seal, so I wouldn't recommend it. You can store them in the refrigerator, though. The vacummn seal would prevent any air circulation, but you can try a few of yours that way if you want to test it out. The newwer method is to wrap the tubers in plastic wrap with no other medium.
