Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have 18 hibiscus plants in my front yard. I cannot take them indoors. I live in Summerville, SC and we do have a lot of nights below freezing. I was told when I purchased them that I could cover them with plastic bags for the winter to keep the frost from killing them. Will this work?

Do not wrap it in plastic, as this can harm it. You can wrap it in burlap or fleece, or simply mulch the roots very well.
