Q.wind damage

my jasmine plant is in a large pot and has been damaged by the wind resulting in alot of the leaves turning brown. shall i cut the damaged leaves away or are they likely to recover. If you recommend cutting them where on the stem is best to make the cut

I would remove the dead or damaged portions of the vine.
