Q.Wilting mature Mango tree

Zone 10a | Mangolover added on February 28, 2018 | Answered

We have a mature mango that bloomed profusely several weeks ago. Last week suddenly the leaves wilted. We have had a spell of dry weather lately so we tried some supplemental watering with no change. The area is well drained. I have never seen this happen to a mature mango tree it looks healthy otherwise no visible insect or disease issues. Please help -we love our mangoes!

This sounds like verticillium wilt. This disease can be very hard to control. This article will give you more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/fruits/mango/mango-tree-diseases.htm
