Q.Wilting Delphinium

Zone Belfast | Rosemary Boyle added on May 24, 2018 | Answered

Hello – I wonder could you tell me what’s happening to my delphiniums? They seemed to be growing well but have suddenly started to wilt. The delphinium plant beside it, which looks very healthy, is covered with bugs (aphids?) but I can’t see any on the plant that’s wilting. As you can probably guess, I don’t know an awful lot about this gardening lark but I’m really trying to get my garden sorted!

This is actually an image of Lupines.
Aphids are a common issue with Lupines and will cause a downward twisting growth.
These links will refresh you on the care of Lupines and how to help the Aphid issue.
