Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comHad a yucca stump for a year. No shoots showing this past summer. Removed it today, but some small Roots I can’t remove. If I plant something else in the hole, is there a chance the yucca will try to regrow?

According to the article below, yuccas will regrow from any root left in the ground. It can be very hard to remove them by hand, but pouring boiling water over the area several times will kill anything before you plant. That is, if you don't want it to come back.
