woolly aphids

We have a 15 yr. old maple tree that is infested by woolly aphids. Right now we only see them on the maple tree. Will they move to other trees and plants or only maples?

Yes, Wool Aphids can spread. Watching for signs of spreading and continue to use Neem Oil for treatment.
