Q.Will Too Many Pups On The Trunk Of A Sago Cause The Head To Shrink?
I have a very old Sago that stands about 6′ tall. It has always had a big beautiful head last year all of a sudden it started putting off pups all over the trunk and now the new fronds are only about 1/3 the length they used to be. Could all the pips be starving the main plant?
