will sandbur herbicides affect almond and pecan trees

My pecan and almond orchard is inundated with sandburs. Would you suggest growning white clover and dichondra? Would the sandbur herbicides affect the growth of the almond and pecan trees?

Typically these will not affect trees. They are for broadleaf plants, and will not harm a large tree. You can grow clover, as it will likely outcompete the sandburrs.
