Q.Will My Young Crepe Myrtle Tree Survive After the Deer Have Eaten All Leaves

The deer stripped all the leaves and blooms from the branches. Will they regrow?

You might see some leaf regrowth before frost. If not, the plant has had enough energy built up to releaf in the spring. If this continues to occur, your plant may not survive. Before the spring flush, you might want to try some type of deer repellant or fencing.
