Will it bloom after I have trimmed it?

If you trim it in the late winter, before it's formed flower buds, it should flower that summer. If you trim it after it had finished flowering, it won't flower again until the next season. This, of course, is assuming it has enough nutrients, water, and sun to be flowering.
