Q.Will Monkey Grass Grow in New York State

When visiting in NJ I fell in love with monkey grass as a low border and would love to grow it. Is it hardy enough for our cold winters?

Monkey grass is hardy to zone 6. If you live in a zone lower than 6, it will not survive in normal parts of your yard. That being said, if you are in zone 5, you may have or be able to create a microclimate in your yard that can bump a small section of your garden up to a zone 6.
