will lawn fertilizer cause perennials to not bloom

The lawn company spread grass fertilizer over flower beds yesterday. Will this keep my perennials from blooming?

I would call your lawn company and determine what exactly was used on your lawn and the ratio.

Most likely it was a weed and feed application which would contain a broad leaf herbicide. This would take out your flowers and could possible contaminate your soil for the future.
