will lantana grow as a perennial in eastern Washington?

I know lantana grows as an annual in my area, but I am hoping to use it as a perennial shrub in a full sun area of my yard.

Most Lantana is hardy down to zone 8 with some hybrids that may be grown as perennial in zone 7.
Most Lantana is sold as a an annual.
