Q.Will Emerald Green Arborvita Thrive In USDA Hardiness Zone 9 (Mountain View, CA)
Hello, I saw conflicting information on what hardiness zone is best for emerald green arborvita. Your site suggests it will be fine in zone 9. Another site suggested up to zone 8: Any thoughts? What are best places to buy it? Looking for 5 of them. Thank you!

We trust the information university extension publications provide. They say it is hardy to zone 8.
We don't make vendor recommendations, but I suggest selecting a reputable nursery or garden center, preferably one that comes with a guarantee.
