Elijah Blue Fescue blooming

Will Elijah Blue Fescue bloom the first year planted? Just planted early this spring but no signs of blooming.

Yes, if it was planted and established early enough. Blooms are occur in late spring or early summer, and the plant tends to peter out as the heat of summer comes on.
