Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comWorkers building a new deck for me felt compelled to stomp most of my emerging hosta crowns and also ones that had started to leaf out. They should be ok and regrow this year. They are amazingly hardy plants. Mine normally have their initial crown eaten off by winter starved deer and they always come back fine and do well for the rest of the summer.
