Q.Will Aubrietta And Salvia Germinate From Seed Beyond 30 Days After Planting?
My Aubrietta and Salvia seeds arrived mid-May in zone 8a Texas. They were planted the following week around May 22nd in Jiffy Pots and Jiffy Strips watering daily with a mixture of 1/4 tsp Miracle Gro fertilizer per quart of water. They have not sprouted. Is it too late to expect them to thrive? What would you recommend to improve my results?

They should have sprouted by now. Fertilizer is not necessary before they have sprouted. Were they always outside or did you start them indoors? If they were outside, they probably dried quickly. Once a day watering may not have been enough to keep the soil moist. Aubrieta seeds should be sown on top of the soil. If you have seeds left, try growing them directly in the soil, following the directions on the seed packet.
