Q.Will a tulip tree bloom sooner if grown from a cutting instead of being grown from seed. (Like a magnolia bush.)
I want to grow a tulip tree but dont want to wait 20 years for the blooms. If i find a tulip tree started from a cutting that has bloomed already would the cutting bloom in 1 to 2 years like a magnolia bush does?

Absolutely! The cutting that you take will be the same age as the tree that it came from. This article will help you with taking cuttings: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/trees/tgen/how-to-root-cuttings-from-various-shrubs-bushes-and-trees.htm
