Q.Will A Pygmy Date Palm Stop Getting New Fronds Even After It Reaches Its Full Height?
I’ve warned my Gardner several times not to trim the pygmy date palm. He recently trimmed it to 2 o clock + 10 o clock. It is 12 feet and I’m concerned it may be growing too slowly to recover those lost fronds.

It only needs to be pruned for aged or diseased foliage. They can grow to 20 feet so it should continue growing. Here is more:
