Q.Will A 40 Ft Chinese Parasol Tree Re-branch If You Cut Trunk To 20 Ft?
My neighbor has several very tall Parasol trees that lean over my house and drop huge leaves. I’m hoping if he cut the trunk in half, they would sprout out at a lower level. Thanks

Yes, but keep in mind that some taller trees can branch in such a way that make them unstable. Just be sure to cut off any branches that have too steep of an angle. They are likely to split and fall as they age.
