Wild Pigs Invading Community

A friend of mine lives in a community that is backed up to a preserve and wild pigs are invading the community, destroying their lawns and plants. Wild pigs in Fl. are protected. How can you stop them from tearing up the lawns?

Unfortunately, there are only 3 recommended routes to dealing with wild pigs, fencing, trapping and killing. They are deterred by very little. An electric fence is just about the best bet if you cannot trap or kill them.
