Q.Why’s 2 Of My Eight Years Old Fruit Trees Not Bearing Fruits?

Zone 6122 | Jaay added on November 20, 2020 | Answered

I have an 8 years old Nashi pear and black plum trees. They have never produced a single fruit in this 8 years period. I’ve seen few flowers on them just not fruits. I have other fruit trees in the property like mangoes, peaches, figs and more. They have fruits with no problem. Please help. What should I do? Should I get rid of them or can they be saved? Thanks June

Compare these cultural conditions with yours:

These pears have a chilling requirement. Your location wasn't clear to know whether you get cold weather. Plus, Asian pears need more than one tree for pollination.
