Q.why won’t my wisteria grow?

My wisterias have not grown in three years. They are still alive but just seem to be dormant. What could be the problem?

Wisteria is more ideal for USDA planting zones 5-8. I believe that Tanzania is outside of that range, so that could be part of the problem here.

Is the wisteria vine still blooming? Does the foliage look healthy? Is it in a place with a lot of sunlight? What kind of soil is it planted in? Wisteria thrives best in deep, rich soil that is somewhat moist.
