Q.Why Won’t My Bing Cherry Tree Give Fruit Anymore?
A friend’s son trimed the trees for me and he cut the top straight off. Ever since it hasn’t produced any fruit. Is there something I can do to it? Or is it too late? Please help me . . .

It should recover. Topping a tree (which is what he did) is stressful to the tree and stress can cause it to stop fruiting while it focuses on recovering. It should recover, but it may take a year or two. Make sure that you are fertilizing regularly and that it is getting enough water. This will help reduce the stress and make recovery quicker.
