Why My Lilac Bush Is Not Blooming

My bush is spreading but only leafy growth. The bush is 3 years old.

There could be an abundance of nitrogen in the soil, which would result in lots of green foliage and little blooms. Adding phosphorus (bone meal) to the soil will help boost blooming.
