Q.Why Isn’t My Trumpet Vine Growing

My trumpet vine was planted 3 years ago it is still 6 inches tall that is the height it was when I purchased it It is planted in full sun

That is surprising because trumpet vine is fast growing and isn't too picky about soil. Are you watering regularly? You may need to test the soil. You can do that at your local Cooperative Extension service.

Did you by chance mean trumpet honeysuckle? They are slow growing and it takes time to get established. Once they do, they will grow quickly.
