Why isn’t my crepe myrtle getting taller ?

Planted 4 crepe myrtles spring 2018, and they flowered well . This year flowering well but no real progress in height which was anticipated and desired

I'm wondering if you have a cultivar that is not bred for height or perhaps they're just having a slow first year. Try feeding the plants with a nitrogen-heavy fertilizer in the spring.
