Why is this yellow spots coming on my pots mud?

I have seen it happening many times with my plants. Is it safe or dangerous for plants. And what should i do to avoid it if is dangerous?

It appears to be salts or something settling unto the surface of the soil.

Try watering with rainwater or distilled water.
