Q.Why Is My Tomato New Growth Turning Purple? The Plant Is About 2 Weeks Old.

The plant is about two weeks old, I live in Nevada, The new leaves turn purple and kinda flop over a little…How do I fix this so I can have tomatoes by the end of the year? Any help is appreciated! (I cannot send pictures as my camera is broken)

Unfortunately, without photos it can be hard to diagnose issues.Purple and limp can mean a few things, but usually it has to do with overwatering.

Sometimes it is an issue with phosphorus, and sometimes it can mean that there is pH imbalance.

Sometimes it can be a combination of things, or be due to cold, as well.

What I can do, in the meantime, is point you in the direction of a good article that will help you to grow tomatoes to their potential.
