Canna Lilies
Q.

canna seeds drying out before I can pick them

Zone Humble Tx. 77338 | trueblue added on September 9, 2015 | Answered

Once my lilies bloom, I am left with a pond of seeds. They are not ready for pinking yet because they are still green, but when I go back to pick them after they trun a brown and black color, they are all dried out.

The seeds are at the perfect time to collect the seeds when they are dry and the seeds are black, just as you describe.
