Why Doesn’t My Spiderwort Open

I get the flowers in buds I can see the purple but they never open what am I doing wrong?

I see signs of infection. I do see signs of powdery mildew which can be a sign that the plant's immune system is compromised. It could be another infection as well.

I suggest some fungicides and then proper care should bring it back to health.
