pussy willow not producing any catkins

why does my pussy willow not produce any catkins? I started the bush from a branch cutting a few years ago. I rooted a cutting from a catkin. It is planted in a wet spot but does not get a whole lot of sun (a full day of sun).

Your Pussy Willow needs part sun to full sun.
