The April 17, 2025, New Fairfield – Sherman Town Tribune ran your article “Proven Health Benefits of Gardening: Why It’s Good to Get Your Hands Dirty”. The article contains an unexamined list of “feel-good” hormones. Yes to endorphins and norepinephrine, but cortisol is a stress hormone (was it too many words to say GARDENING MAY REDUCE THE STRESS HORMONE CORTISOL? Epinephrine is also listed; it’s adrenaline and is usually released during the fight response – more of a jolt than a feel-good.
