Q.Why Do Tulip Bulbs Come Out Of The Ground?

i sat tulip bulbs as borders over the last few years but this summer the bulbs are all showing overground. ????

This can happen when they are not quite planted deep enough. Erosion and growth leads to exposed bulbs. Sometimes, this can be caused by overcrowding, but this is not the case, here.
