Calla Lily Plants

Q.why do the leaves create liquid and drip?

Zone North central Saskatchewan, Canada | Anonymous added on June 10, 2016 | Answered

We just bought a potted Calla Lily. We noticed that when carrying the plant we could feel moisture. In the morning, there were droplets on the leaves and some liquid on the floor.

Your Peace Lily is likely over watered.
The plant sweats out the extra water through it's leaves, called transpiration.
Always check the soil before watering. It should be slightly dry.
