Why Do the Green Leaves of a Hibiscus Tree Turn Yellow

My hibiscus tree when purchased 3 weeks ago had beautiful yellow blooms and real green leaves. Now the leaves are turning yellow. Does it need more water, sun, fertilizer? It is in full afternoon sun.
