Why Do the Edges of the Leaves of My Fig Tree Dry Up?

We took our small fig tree inside for the winter and in February it grew large, healthy leaves. In April, we placed it outside when it was safe from frost. After a couple of days with good sun, the leaves started drying at the edges. Since then, although it produces new, healthy leaves constantly, every leaf begins to dry around the edges after a few days.
