Why do blooms and small fruit fall off orange trees

When the tree first starts putting on blooms they all fall off. We fertilize and water but nothing seems to stop the problem

One problem may be that your tree is still young. It is also quite natural for an orange to drop blossoms and small fruit. Fertilizing and water will not help, as long as you’ve kept up a good cultural regime.
