Why Do My Veggie Plants Look Wilted After Being in the Sun?

I’m waiting for the weather to get nicier before planting my garden; however, after letting them spend time in the sun they look wilted. My zucchini, in fact, looks the worse.

If you are setting the plants outside in the sun after being inside for a while, chances are they are sunburned. Plants also become stressed when temperatures exceed what they have normally had by 15*F. Just like humans, we have become used to highs in the 60’s, today it is 79*F, and we are wilting when in the sun. Acclimate your plants by gradually giving them more sun, leaving them outside at night, if possible, will also help toughen them up.
