Q.Why Do My Tomatoes Rot at the Stem End?

Zone 8 | sewinglady added on April 12, 2013 | Answered

Tomatoes turn dark at the stem end when they start to ripen. When partially ripe, I have cut one open and the rot extends down the middle of the tomato. What can I do?
