Q.Why Do My Redcurrants Drop Off The Stalk Just As They Begin To Ripen?
The year I planted my 3 redcurrant bushes, I had a bumper harvest. Since then, the currants drop off the stalls just as they begin to ripen. I mulch round the roots in the winter, prune in the autumn, cover with netting in the spring, where am I going wrong? Would be grateful for your advice.

Are they getting plenty of water? The soil needs to be kept moist from spring through harvest. Check your growing conditions with these tips:
