Q.Why Do My Red Robins Look So Different?
I bought two red robin bushes a few years ago for my front garden border. One of them has been growing extremely tall and leggy very quickly while the other is rounder and more red. The leggy one still has some sections that look like the other bush, but some branches have gone crazy! I’ve been pruning off the leggy parts as it seems to be a different variety/species of the plant. Is this the right thing to do?

Yes, prune the wild shoots as you see them to be the same size as the rest of the shrub. Make sure the legginess isn't caused by a lack of sun.
