Q.Why Didn’t The Berries Fall Off My Hawthorn This Winter? No Birds Ate Them Either.

Tree is established and otherwise healthy. We are in the third year of a severe drought.

Things like that are usually weather related such as the drought. However, Hawthorn berries do persist through winter and often aren't eaten by birds till spring. You may see robins devouring them, yet. It's possible, too, the lack of rain has left the berries dry and unpalatable.
