Q.Why Did My Silk Lilac Tree Not Have Any Blooms This Year?
This tree is mature. We planted it 20 years ago. It has always been healthy and is healthy now. Every year since it was planted we have had blooms in the spring. None this year.

There may be too much nitrogen, or not enough phosphorus and potassium in the soil. A soil test will confirm, and you can begin to remedy the situation.
