Q.Why Did My Linden Tree Not Bloom?
Our Linden Tree is 24 years old and vigorous. But this year it decided not to bloom?!?!?!

It could be that the soil has been depleted of potassium and phosphorus. Both of these will be critical for flowering. This can happen due to a couple of different things. This could be a natural pH shift more to the acidic side, which would make it just a little harder for the tree to take up phosphorus and potassium. Or it could be actual soil deficiency of the two, and a little more nitrogen than should be for flowering. Fortunately, both can be tested.
