Blooms Fall Off Healthy Meyer Lemon Tree

Jcacciola added on April 19, 2015 | Answered

Why did all the blooms fall off our healthy Meyer lemon tree? Our tree was covered in blooms and rather suddenly they were all gone. The leaves look good and there are no signs of obvious insect infestation. This is not a new plant and we did not repot it.

There could be a few reasons your tree dropped blossoms. Was it exposed to a cold spell? Was watering regular, dry spell then followed by heavy watering can cause blossoms to drop. The blossom can be shed naturally if the tree has to many flowers forming.
