Q.Why do my gladiolus plants turn pinkish rose after second year?

Zone 30 W Welcher Rd Coupeville Wa. 98239 | Andrea added on September 4, 2015 | Answered

For some reason my gladiolus want to change to pink after the second winter season. Could it be that I do not use an anti-fungal powder? Do you recommend an anti-fungal powder?

Over time Gladiolas can change color as well as a couple of viruses. Flowers will fade as the blooming season goes on and it can be more noticeable in some colors than others.
Any anti fungicide powder can be used on the corms for winter storage. It may also be labeled as bulb dust.
